Job Description

This is a project based / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.


Role Purpose:

This position will support all functions of the USA Sports programming team, including rights management and strategic scheduling with a primary focus on Golf Channel. The person will be responsible for overseeing the Golf Channel Latin America schedule and supporting other operations functions of the programming team. This position works directly with all levels of the programming team and other key contacts across the USA Sports organization including Ad Sales, Creative Services, Operations, Traffic, Production and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all programming, rights management, strategic scheduling initiatives for USA Sports' deep roster of partners
  • Main point of contact for the Golf Channel Latin America schedule
  • Create and distribute daily and ad-hoc multi-platform scheduling reports for Ad-sales planning/finance/Business Development, Production and other departments as needed
  • Manage Golf Channel programming hours during budget and upfront season working with ad-sales digital finance and digital research teams
  • Enter Golf Channel and Golf Channel Latin America schedules and program changes into Golf Channel’s scheduling system
  • Maintain and enter Golf Channel Alternate Schedules for Canada and the Caribbean
  • Assist with additional projects and administrative needs for the department
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum two years’ experience in the television/film production business (internships included)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Sports, including golf
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to work overtime, and some nights and weekends as needed (flexibility in broadcast environment is imperative)
  • Must be willing to physically work out of our Stamford CT locations on a hybrid basis
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
