Job description

As a Power sports service advisor at Scranton Powersports in Vernon, CT, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency in a dealership specializing in motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and other power sports vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly, understand their concerns, and provide detailed information about necessary services and repairs for their power sports vehicles.
  • Create and manage service orders meticulously, ensuring accurate documentation of customer information, vehicle details, and service requests.
  • Prepare repair cost estimates, explain charges to customers, and process invoices promptly upon service completion.
  • Schedule service appointments efficiently, optimizing workflow and departmental efficiency.
  • Be the main point of contact for customers throughout the service process, providing regular updates on vehicle status and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain precise records of services, parts used, and customer interactions in the dealership's management system.
  • Collaborate closely with service technicians to understand repair needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and effectively to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Promote service packages, maintenance programs, and additional services to customers when appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a service writer or customer service role, preferably in the power sports, automotive, or motorcycle industry.
  • Familiarity with power sports vehicles, parts, and repair processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
