Team Athletic Executive (TAE)

TUF Sports Apparel

Build Relationships. Grow Programs. Leave a Legacy.

TUF Sports Apparel is expanding throughout Minnesota and the Midwest and is looking for motivated, relationship-driven professionals to join our sales team as Team Athletic Executives (TAEs).

This isn't a typical sales position. You'll work directly with athletic directors, coaches, youth organizations, and schools to provide custom uniforms, apparel, team stores, letterman jackets, and other program solutions while building long-term partnerships.

If you're competitive, self-motivated, and enjoy working with people, this is an opportunity to build a career with a growing sports company.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with athletic directors, coaches, schools, and youth organizations.
  • Prospect and develop new business within your assigned territory.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand program needs.
  • Present custom apparel and branding solutions.
  • Generate quotes and proposals using TUF systems.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity in TUF Ops.
  • Expand existing accounts into additional sports and product categories.
  • Complete all required TUF Academy certifications.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable using technology and CRM systems.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Passion for athletics, education, or sales is preferred.
  • Previous sales experience is helpful but not required.

Compensation

  • Commission-based with uncapped earning potential.
  • Performance bonuses and advancement opportunities.
  • Leadership pathway into Senior Team Athletic Executive, Director, and Regional Director roles.

Training & Development

Every new Team Athletic Executive receives structured onboarding through TUF Academy, including product knowledge, sales training, territory development, and ongoing coaching. You'll also have access to TUF Ops, our proprietary operating platform, to manage your pipeline, certifications, and daily activity.

If you're looking for an opportunity where your performance determines your growth, we'd love to meet you.
