Splunk Monitoring Tools Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Splunk Developer to join their team in Coraopolis, PA. The role involves developing and administering SPLUNK dashboards and monitoring systems, ensuring effective integration of data streams for real-time troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
• Overall experience of 8+ years in application design and development in a distributed environment using Java/J2EE technology.
• Five (5) years of SPLUNK Development experience developing dashboard with SPL.
• Five (5) years of SPLUNK Administration experience in a 24X7 system environment.
• Development experience in a high volume 24X7 system environment.
• SPLUNK monitoring subject matter expertise in a large scale application environment.
• Two (2) years integrating multiple data streams and feeds from networks, infrastructure services, mission/business applications into a near, real-time dashboard for use in troubleshooting
• Two (2) years of experience utilizing both pre-built dashboards/add-ons within SPLUNK system and customized SPLUNK dashboards and search queries.
• Two (2) years of experience capturing applications baseline performance deviations and implement proactive SPLUNK monitoring and alerting of production systems.
• Intermediate level SQL experience.
• Ability to integrate different systems built in C#, C/C++, IBM I series , AppDynamics and Java into SPLUNK using plug-ins or customized connectors.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to establish the root cause of problems and form a solution or workaround across a range of environments.
• Expertise in SPLUNK Searching and Reporting modules, Knowledge Objects, Administration, Dashboards, Clustering and Forwarder management.
• Generate or enhance SPLUNK Dashboards, Reports, and Alerts.
• Create Dashboards, Visualizations, Statistical reports, scheduled searches, alerts and knowledge objects.
• Working knowledge of Java Applications and Development.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• Good Analytical and problem solving skills.
• SPLUNK training and/or certifications would be a major plus.
• Strong preference for consultants with extensive experience architecture/developing/deploying/configuration of customized technical add-ons.
• Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.
