Job description

We are seeking a skilled Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) Engineer & Administrator with expertise in Linux system administration, RabbitMQ (RMQ), infrastructure management, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting PCF applications, utilizing monitoring tools such as Wavefront, Splunk, or Datadog, managing VMware vCenter infrastructure, and automating deployments using Concourse pipelines and Python/Shell scripting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environments.
  • Troubleshoot PCF-hosted applications, deployment failures, and performance issues.
  • Administer Linux systems (RHEL/Ubuntu).
  • Configure, manage, and optimize RabbitMQ (RMQ) services.
  • Implement monitoring using Wavefront, Splunk, Datadog, or similar tools.
  • Manage VMware vCenter and virtualization infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain Concourse CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop automation using Python and Shell scripting.
  • Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
  • Strong experience troubleshooting PCF applications.
  • Linux Administration (RHEL/Ubuntu).
  • RabbitMQ Administration.
  • VMware vCenter experience.
  • Concourse CI/CD pipelines.
  • Python and Shell scripting.
  • Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Wavefront.
  • Strong knowledge of PCF components including BOSH, Diego, and Garden.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native applications, and microservices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PCF Administrator Certification.
