Company Description Splash Car Wash & Lube is an individual and family services business located in Brandon, Florida, serving the local community at 802 W Bloomingdale Ave. The company offers car wash and automotive maintenance services designed to keep vehicles clean, reliable, and safe. Team members work in a customer-focused environment where quality service and efficiency are highly valued. Splash Car Wash & Lube provides opportunities to learn and grow within the automotive and service industry while working directly with customers and their vehicles.
Role Description As an Automotive Technician at Splash Car Wash & Lube, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance and basic repair services in an on-site, shop environment in Brandon, FL. This full-time role includes conducting oil changes, inspecting vehicles, and completing preventive maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation. You will assist with automotive repair work, support suspension checks or minor adjustments, and report any issues requiring further attention. Daily responsibilities also include following safety and quality standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area, communicating clearly with customers and team members, and documenting services performed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for a variety of passenger vehicles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Oil Changes and basic Automotive Repair, including routine service and minor diagnostics (Min 3 years)
- Knowledge of automotive tools, equipment, and safety procedures; ability to follow service checklists and manufacturer recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management; ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Good communication skills and teamwork; ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician, lube technician, or related role preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) are a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in varying weather conditions as needed.
