This role is performed onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a collaborative therapy setting. • Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients, documenting findings accurately to formulate a baseline for treatment.
• Develop and implement customized rehabilitation strategies that address individual patient needs and goals.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, focusing on enhancing mobility and building strength.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, such as joint mobilization and soft tissue manipulation, to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans while maintaining open communication with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for each patient.
• Engage in ongoing education and stay current with evidence-based practices and developments in physical therapy.
• Active participation in departmental meetings and case discussions to further enhance the quality of care provided at our facility.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Human Touch Rehab Center, you will primarily work with patients recovering from post-surgical procedures, sports injuries, spinal disorders, and orthopedic conditions. Your role will be to facilitate pain relief, restore functional movement, and improve patients' quality of life through a personalized approach to care. You will have the opportunity to build rapport with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, guiding them through their rehabilitation process.

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or equivalent, is preferred.

• Experience with diverse patient populations, including orthopedics, geriatrics, and sports rehabilitation.
• Certifications in specialized treatment approaches, such as McKenzie Method or FMS, are a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
