We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our skilled team at Human Touch Rehab Center, located in Alpine, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in the rehabilitation journey of our patients by assessing their physical conditions and providing customized therapy plans that promote recovery and enhance overall functional independence.

Work Environment

Located in the picturesque surroundings of Alpine, New Jersey, our rehabilitation facility offers a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere. As a Physical Therapist here, you will work onsite in a facility equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and resources. Our patient volume averages 2 patients per hour, ensuring that you can dedicate quality time to each individual while managing an efficient therapy schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, utilizing a variety of assessment techniques.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that target specific recovery objectives, ensuring alignment with each patient's unique goals.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques and tailored exercise regimens.
• Educate patients and their families on the rehabilitation process and provide them with tools and strategies to promote recovery at home.
• Work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients facing musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular challenges. At Human Touch Rehab Center, we believe in treating the whole person, and as such, our approach emphasizes not only physical recovery but also emotional support and education to empower our patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is essential.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is mandatory.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques is critical for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, is highly preferred for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting will be advantageous, particularly within orthopedic environments.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
