Team Mission: We operate at the intersection of modern software engineering and national defense. Our mandate is to deliver high-impact capabilities by acting as problem-solvers, technical stewards, and trusted partners of the mission. This team is a largely autonomous cell of the Data and Platform Division operating in a Major Subordinate Command, adhering to Center of Excellence standards while driving innovation and delivery on the front lines.

Role Overview: As the Power Platform Architect and Technical Lead, you are the technical backbone of the team. Your role is to ensure that every project is started on the right foot with a sound architectural structure, robust data model, and a clear path to execution. You will be a key contributor to the broader Center of Excellence, helping to set and enforce standards of excellence.

You will push the boundaries of the Power Platform, designing solutions that are scalable, secure, and maintainable, including those that require complex integrations with other Azure services. We are looking for: * Smart people with a passion for technology * Ability to solve challenging business problems * Self-directed professionals * Hunger to continually learn and grow Responsibilities: * Technical Strategy & Architecture: Design and architect end-to-end solutions on the Power Platform, SharePoint, and Power BI, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices * Data Architecture: Lead data modeling efforts in Dataverse and other data sources, ensuring data integrity and efficient design. Perform data engineering tasks as needed to support application and reporting requirements * Standards & Governance: Contribute to the Center of Excellence by developing, documenting, and implementing technical standards, best practices, and reusable components. Embody the "Scout Rule" by continuously improving our technical landscape * Mentorship: Serve as the senior technical expert for the team, mentoring developers, performing code reviews, and helping to solve the most complex technical challenges * Innovation & Prototyping: Explore and evaluate new technologies and platform features to solve complex problems, including integrations with Azure services in a separate tenant * Hands-on Development: Act as a senior developer on key projects, tackling the most challenging components and setting a high bar for quality Required Qualifications: * Expert-level knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) * Deep expertise in SharePoint Online, including advanced list/view configurations, permissions, and site architecture * Proven experience in data modeling, data architecture, and data engineering * Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, scalable solutions * Experience in an Agile environment and commitment to iterative development * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders * Active Security clearance Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with React/Typescript development, especially for creating custom components (e.g., SPFx) * Experience with Vantage * Experience architecting solutions that span multiple A365/Azure tenants * Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, PL-600) IPTA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
