Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a Material Handler II to join our team in Princeton, MN!

Schedule and Pay:
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 3:15 PM ; Friday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Salary Grade D
$21.00 - $24.95
Job Summary:
The Material Handler II is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting supplies, raw materials and freight to designated areas throughout the plant as well as warehouse to ensure uninterrupted production.
Job Duties:
  • Prioritizes work to ensure efficient movement of supplies, raw materials and freight.
  • Moves materials back and forth from main warehouse to central warehouse.
  • Obtains and maintains forklift certification as well as operates forklifts in a safe yet efficient fashion.
  • Uses pallet jacks as needed.
  • Processes UPS, Fed EX and SpeeDee deliveries as needed.
  • Makes inquiries to the ERP system as needed.
  • Prepares all needed documentation in a complete, thorough and timely fashion.
  • Performs cycle counts of inventory daily.
  • Performs safety check on forklifts before operation.
  • Writes up repair requests for maintenance.
  • Changes and fills propane tanks on forklifts.
  • Charges forklift.
  • Loads and unloads material by hand.
  • Rotates stock as needed.
  • Unloads trucks, reviews Bills of Lading and inspects materials for damage.
  • Delivers materials to appropriate location on production floor as needed.
  • Reports damaged materials to Buyers.
  • Delivers packages to designated employees.
  • Fuels truck(s) as needed.
  • Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices i.e., tape measure, etc.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
  • Communicates and interacts with all team members company-wide in a positive fashion.
  • Operates band cutter.
  • Operates cardboard crusher.
  • Participates in safety audits.
