The Clapping Monkey House of Coffee is a locally queer-owned, pop-and-pop coffee shop in Fridley built around great coffee, food, hospitality, creativity, and community. We're hiring part-time Baristas to help create a welcoming place where people can comfortably be themselves.This is a hands-on role that includes preparing beverages and food, guest service, register, stocking, dishes, cleaning, prep, and opening and closing duties as assigned. Coffee experience is helpful but not required.What we're looking for:Reliable attendance, respectful communication, and dependable follow-throughAbility to learn recipes and procedures and work accurately in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to help with the full range of coffee shop work, including food, drinks, dishes, cleaning, and stockingMorning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on business needs$11.50/hour + tips when scheduled as a BaristaBenefits include Minnesota ESST, employee discount, shift beverages, overtime when applicable, and training and development opportunities.Shifts may range from approximately 2.5 to 8 hours.
