Job description

Job Overview

Speech Kids NY is seeking licensed BILINGUAL SPANISH Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) for in-person, school-based positions in Brooklyn, NY.

This role involves working with preschool and school-age students in a structured school setting, providing direct therapy services and maintaining required documentation.

Schedule

  • Guaranteed 6 hours per day (30 hours per week)
  • 5 hours of direct therapy
  • 1 hour for documentation and paperwork

Compensation (W-2)

  • $75/hour – Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • $90/hour – Licensed SLPs

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech-language therapy to pediatric students
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate with families as needed regarding student progress

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) – Required
  • BEA Score in SPANISH or bilingual extention
  • NYS Speech-Language Pathology License – Preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) – Preferred
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
