Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Otolaryngologist, you will be a pivotal player in diagnosing and treating a comprehensive spectrum of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and head and neck region. This involves both medical and surgical interventions, ranging from common ailments like ear infections and sinusitis to complex challenges such as neck cancers, hearing loss, and reconstructive surgery. You will lead patient care through precise diagnostics, advanced treatment planning, and dedicated post-operative management, ensuring optimal patient outcomes within your specialty.

Every day you will conduct comprehensive examinations, meticulously diagnose conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans for your patients. A key aspect of your role will be collaborating extensively with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language pathologists, audiologists, and other medical providers, to ensure holistic patient care. You'll also provide essential patient education, empowering individuals with a clear understanding of their conditions and treatment pathways, and diligently monitor their progress throughout the recovery period.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly skilled and compassionate Otolaryngologist with expertise across a wide range of ENT conditions, both medical and surgical. You must possess strong diagnostic acumen, surgical proficiency in areas from routine procedures to complex cases like oncology and reconstructive surgery, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient education, ensuring successful outcomes and seamless coordination with specialists and providers.

Job Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or board eligible from the American Board of Otolaryngology
  • Oregon medical license and DEA certificate
  • Specialty training at an ACGME accredited facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
