Job description

As Manager, Mid Market Sales at Spectrum, you will lead Account Executives and Account Managers to consistently exceed sales goals, optimize team production and nurture customer relationships. Your leadership will ensure a customer-focused approach while you foster growth and deliver outstanding results for Spectrum.


How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Coach and lead Account Executives and Account Managers to achieve or surpass sales targets through constructive and supportive techniques 
  • Drive and monitor sales activity within your team, focusing on behaviors that lead to successful goal attainment 
  • Oversee daily team activities including training, motivation and development to build a cohesive and effective sales organization 
  • Recruit, select and train qualified sales and account management professionals to support ongoing business growth 
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to capitalize on sales coaching opportunities and attend sales calls as needed 
  • Provide weekly sales summaries and reports to sales leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decisions 
  • Assign high-priority customers and pursue opportunities with significant long-term business potential 
  • Perform special projects and take action on long-term business building opportunities

What You Will Bring to Spectrum 


Required Qualifications 


Education 

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED)  

Skills

  • Read, write, speak and understand English 
  • Knowledge of data and cable industry strongly preferred 
  • Ability to supervise personnel and manage office procedures 
  • Skill in organizing, implementing and maintaining sales goals 
  • Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record 

Preferred Qualifications 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training, education and experience 

Experience 

  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience managing business accounts and sales teams, or equivalent combination of work and education experience 

Skills 

  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
