INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN
Summary: Contributes advanced knowledge and skill in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support the property and Information Technology department objectives. Provide technical assistance to computer system users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Essential Duties:
  • Monitoring, ensuring and managing the maintenance of property-based systems, hardware and software.
  • Working with the IT Team to implement technology solutions for guests, team members, and rental partners.
  • Physically install and at times configure Windows servers, workstations, laptops, printers, speakers, IP cameras, IP phones, etc.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills:- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting common computer problems and providing technical support to end-users.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
- Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot various software applications commonly used in business environments. This includes productivity suites (Microsoft Office), antivirus software, and specialized applications specific to the organization's industry. - Ability to create clear and concise documentation for technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations. Good documentation practices help in knowledge sharing, training new staff, and maintaining system integrity.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, and stoop
  • Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including inclement weather and high humidity

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
