Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Surgical Technologist at the University of Tennesee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
Position Highlights:
  • Opportunity to care for Military Families
  • Paid Time Off
  • Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K
  • Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts
  • On Call On-call begins Friday at 1830 and ends Monday at 0630. On call one weekend per month.
  • If called in must report within 30 minutes.

Job Requirements:
  • Experience: One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation.
  • Education:
    • Graduate from CAAHEP - Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (or)
    • ABHES -Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (or)
    • Completion of a formal training program provided by any U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.
  • Certification:
    • Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA -The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (or)
    • Certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from the NCCT - National Center for Competency Testing (or)
