Job description

The Bra Fitting Specialist is an expert in correct bra fitting and product knowledge. Specialist are able to diagnose fit issues, sell bras that properly fit. Provide emotionally sensitive customer engagement experiences and grow repeat client engagements.

Consistently fit clients in correct design of bra for individual body type.

Additionally, participating in client night out fitting events.

The Bra Fitting Specialist is responsible for the execution of all company driven initiatives and for the volume growth potential at retail for the Ewa Bien, CORIN, Nikol Djumon, Sermija, Leilieve by Manicardi, ivette BRIDAL, and Lauma, product lines within Bra Spectrum Specialty Lingerie store.

Bra Fitting Specialist will assist with verifying lingerie import shipments against manufactures proforma's.

Additionally, the sales associate will be required to pick wholesale orders from inventory, check the orders against formal proforma, delete orders from cloud based inventory application and assist with packing the shipments.

A key aspect of the Bra Fitting Specialist role is to promote retail sales by interacting clients and providing personal fitting of lingerie foundations - bras that fit.

A critical role of the Bra Fitting Specialist is to educate clients on all product lines sold in Bra Spectrum as well as bra fitting so they can generate cash register sales and consistently execute stock (bra) replenishment from inventory.

A critical requirement of this position is to measure female consumers to determine the proper fit for bras and various other undergarments and intimate apparel in the privacy of the women’s fitting room on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct Consumer Selling: Promote and generate cash register sales at retail of all Bra Spectrum products as assigned.
  • Promote positive consumer relations within Bra Spectrum, as well as generate cash register sales by working directly with the consumer on the Bra Spectrum retail selling floor and in the fitting rooms by representing Bra Spectrum as a trained Intimate Apparel Fit Specialist.
  • Maintain product flow and visual presentations according to Bra Spectrum store product merchandising standards. Ensure all available stock of all product brands carried is out and available on the retail selling floor at all times.
  • Participate in “Special Events” at Bra Spectrum, this would include but is not limited to: Fit Events, Fashion Shows, trunk shows and other such activities as well as participate in “Special Projects” as assigned
  • Observe all Bra Spectrum retail store procedures and guidelines for safe performance, as well as comply with all Bra Spectrum Safety policy and procedures.
  • Bra Fitting Specialist must provide their own transportation. In the operation of a motor Vehicle, the fitting specialist must meet and abide by all state and local statutes and laws, as well as all Company safety guidelines.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the respective business owner, sales leader or sales manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • High school degree required.
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Three years’ retail apparel related experience preferred.
  • Home computer access is strongly encouraged, with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

  • Ongoing general supervision and guidance is provided by the respective owner, sales leader or sales manager. Training is provided by the owner, sales leader or sales manager.
