Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at Nevada Regional Medical Center, a rural, community-focused hospital serving a population of approximately 20,000. This position offers the opportunity to build and grow orthopedic services while providing essential specialty care close to home for our community.

This role is ideal for a physician interested in practicing broad-spectrum orthopedics in a supportive rural setting while making a meaningful impact on patient access to care.

About the Practice

  • General orthopedic surgery practice
  • Opportunity to develop and expand orthopedic services
  • Evaluate and treat a broad range of orthopedic conditions including:
    • Joint pain and arthritis
    • Fractures and trauma
    • Sports-related injuries
    • Degenerative joint conditions
    • Hand, wrist, shoulder, hip, and knee conditions
  • Mix of outpatient clinic and surgical cases
  • Access to operating room and procedural services
  • Flexible clinic scheduling
  • Limited inpatient consults as needed

  • Emergency Department with approximately 30 patients per 24 hours
