Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a ABA/ RBTs to join our team! We are a small agency located in Lincoln Park that primarily serves families with state funded insurance (e.g. Medicaid). We are seeking staff for Allendale Residential in Lake Villa, Illinois.
 
ABA therapists will be responsible for implementing behavior analytic procedures designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Positions are part-time and based in a residential environment for up to 35 hours a week. Staff will be responsible for implementing one-on-one ABA therapy or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays.
  • Use Central Reach Essentials for data and daily note collection
  • Provide individual support to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder
  • Use evidence-based treatment methods prescribed by the BCBA to facilitate group and individual treatment
  • Assist with teaching Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills such as toilet training, dressing, eating, functional communication, and behavior reduction.
  • Work with a team of professionals and be open to suggestions from supervisors and fellow staff
  • Obtain and Maintain RBT certification within 90 days
 
Qualifications
 
  • Previous experience as an RBT ( 1 year or more preferred)
  • Associates/bachelor’s degree
  • Pass criminal background test
  • Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable cell phones, laptop, and transportation
