What You'll Do

We’re looking for a Portfolio Administration and Client Service Associate to join our Spectrum Asset Management team. In this role, you’ll be part of a team focused on interacting daily with all areas of the firm as well as external clients!

  • Monitor and maintain client account performance and attribution reporting, internal composites, benchmarks and indices
  • Analyze and maintain market constituents, and other strategic data for the firm
  • Communicate and disseminate information to sales and marketing teams regarding portfolio, credit and market performance
  • Design and implement systems to make client service data related activities more efficient
  • Design, test, monitor, and internally report upon portfolio guideline compliance rules
  • Coordinate and consolidate responses to requests for proposals
  • Interface with portfolio managers and credit analysts, clients and affiliated compliance personnel regarding portfolio compliance and coordination

  • You have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, business management, mathematics, or computer science
  • Basic knowledge of fixed income, fixed income portfolio characterictics analysis, and fixed income performance reporting is preferrable.
  • Competent skills with Python and SQL
  • Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, advanced formulas (e.g., INDEX/MATCH or XLOOKUP), and analysis of large datasets for reporting and reconciliation
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
  • Work experience in institutional asset management, operations, client support, or finance
  • Experience with and knowledge of AI assisted code writing tools

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

The salary range posted reflect market-specific compensation for this position across multiple job levels. Candidates will be evaluated to determine the appropriate job level based on their skills and experience. 


Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Stamford, CT. Spectrum’s Stamford office is located 15 minutes from the Metro-North Railroad (New Haven Line) and there city buses that runs daily between the Stamford Metro-North Station and the office park at which Spectrum is located. As a result, a reverse commute from New York City to Spectrum is practical.

Work Environments

This role offers the ability for in-office or hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements (but requires three office days each week). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
