Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an Employee Health RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct and indirect nursing care for employees, contract employees and non-employee groups, with particular emphasis in the area of occupational health. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

  • Complete Employee Health visits per organizational policy and department protocols.
  • Provide safe, competent and efficient nursing care for minor and acute injuries and illnesses.
  • Monitor employee work-related illness and injury trends.
  • Assess, develop, and implement strategies to prevent work-acquired injury or illness and expedite return to work.
  • Participate in preventative screening programs.
  • Safely administer and document immunizations and TB skin tests.
  • Counsel employees on physical and mental health issues and provide resources for further assistance.

Job Requirements:

Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred

Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.

BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start

Specialty nursing certification preferred

Minimum of three (3) years as an RN in an Acute Care setting or specialty area with 2 or more years of occupational health nursing.

We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet.
