Cable Technician (Installation & Service)

What You’ll Do

As a Cable Technician, you’ll be the face of CUI in the field—delivering reliable, high-quality service directly to customers.

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems
  • Perform service upgrades, relocations, and audits at residential and commercial locations
  • Ensure every installation meets quality, safety, and customer experience standards
  • Educate customers on their services and equipment
  • Manage and maintain your company vehicle, tools, and inventory
  • Accurately complete work orders, documentation, and time reporting


What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for technicians who take pride in their work and want to grow in a fast-paced, high-opportunity environment.

  • Previous cable, fiber, or broadband installation experience required
  • Comfortable working with tools, technology, and hands-on problem solving
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work at heights (ladders up to 30 ft.)
  • Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Minimum age: 23
