Are you a detail-oriented "maker" who enjoys working with high-tech machinery? We are looking for a Cabling Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, youย arenโ€™tย just running a machine; you are the craftsman responsible for the structural integrity of the cables that power our world. If you value precision, safety, and high-quality work, we want to hear from you.ย 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:ย 

  • Assemble: Twist and cable primary conductors together using specialized industrial equipment.ย 
  • Verify: Act as your own "Quality Inspector" by measuring diameters and gauges with calipers.ย 
  • Document: Keep perfect records of your work to ensure every reel meets ourย high standards.ย 
  • Lead: Maintain your workspace and ensure products are wrapped and ready for the next stage of production.ย 
  • Safety: Follow proper safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and the use of PPE.ย 

Qualifications:ย ย 

  • Ability to read and interpret complex work instructions and job travelers.ย 
  • Proficiencyย in using precision measuring tools like calipers and cutters.ย 
  • Strong oral communication skills with a focus on active listening and seeking clarification.ย 
  • A consistentย track recordย of punctuality, accountability,ย and meetingย productivity standards.ย 
  • The ability to multi-task and pivot between different product setups as production needsย change.ย 
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures.ย 

Shift Opportunities:ย 

  • During Training - First Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Mon-Fri
  • After Training - Second Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Mon-Fri (+ $2.50)

Compensation & Benefits:

The starting pay for this position isย $22.00 per hour ($24.50 after training). Employees are eligible for wage increases through a structured, tiered pay progression based on demonstrated proficiency, skill development, and successful completion of designated training and job responsibilities.
