What you'll do:
  1. Must have ability to work independently in a fast paced, multitasking environment.
  2. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  3. Performs and completes all Pre-Operational Inspections for cranes and mobile equipment.
  4. Operates remote crane(s), band saw(s), Hilti Grinder, oxygen lance, SpectroTest/XRF unit, business computer system(s) and other equipment as needed.
  5. Assures material identity is maintained at all times throughout the process.
  6. Inspects, identifies, and stencils customer material following all relevant EQS Manufacturing Instructions & Operating Procedures.
  7. Loads cold shipments onto trucks and into railcars following all relevant EQS Manufacturing Instructions & Operating Procedures.
  8. Communicates and assists other Shipping operations when needed.
  9. Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including but not limited to plant safety regulations and work rules.
  10. Must have ability and desire to work well with others.
  11. Meets attendance requirements.
  12. Performs other duties as deemed necessary.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum one (1) year Shipping experience is preferred; Certification in remote crane operation is preferred.
TRAINING: Theoretical Steelmaking Course - overall score of 80% preferred; Spectrometer Training; Minimum 80 hours experience as a qualified crane operator and must satisfactorily complete the EQS Crane Training Program.
