Perform fact-finding to determine cause(s) and percentage of loss, exercising independent judgment in claim handling.
Work with customers to complete field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, and collect production records.
Manage each claim until it is settled, including communicating regulations and procedures to claimants, agents, and industry stakeholders.

Role OverviewProAg offers an exciting opportunity for a Crop Adjuster in the Sacramento Valley. Our team shares a passion for American agriculture and understands the challenges producers face. As a Crop Adjuster, you will make first contact with policyholders on farms or ranches that have experienced a loss. You will work with customers to complete field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, and collect production records—all while assessing damage or loss. You will be responsible for each claim until it is settled, traveling up to 75% of the time and covering the Sacramento Valley territory from home.
Responsibilities$43,000 – $100,000 annually, inclusive of geographic adjustments. Salary will be within this range based on location, qualifications, experience, education, and skill level.
