Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Breast Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in a well-established General Surgery practice, serving a community with a significant need for specialized breast care. This exciting opportunity is perfect for both new graduates and experienced surgeons seeking to build a thriving practice. You'll join a collaborative team of three General Surgeons, expanding our capacity to diagnose and treat breast cancer patients, manage breast biopsies, interpret imaging follow-ups, and guide genetic testing. This position offers extensive growth opportunities within a supportive environment, focusing on delivering exceptional patient outcomes and addressing critical healthcare demands.

Every day you will be instrumental in managing a robust caseload, projected at approximately 20 patients during two dedicated clinic days, complemented by 1-3 days focused on surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will encompass performing essential procedures such as breast ultrasounds, breast biopsies, and breast I&Ds. A typical work week will involve around 40 hours, balancing clinic demands with operating room schedules and participating in a shared General Surgery ER call rotation approximately six days per month. You'll contribute to a high-demand service, ensuring comprehensive, compassionate care for a diverse patient population within a state-of-the-art clinical setting.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Breast Surgeon or a qualified resident/fellow. You will possess strong clinical acumen in breast pathology, advanced surgical techniques, and exceptional patient communication skills. We offer a competitive salary, attractive sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans, CME benefits, and robust per-occurrence based medical malpractice with tail coverage. For eligible candidates, loan repayment through Bright Horizons and PSLF loan forgiveness (due to our 501(c)3 status) are also available, making this an ideal long-term career investment for a dedicated and forward-thinking specialist.

We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. We also offer a retirement plan with employer match. Qualified candidates may also be eligible for student loan repayment.
