Job Category: Military Operations & Training Requisition Number: JOINT001310 Posting Details Description Quattro Consulting, an operating group of Command Holdings, is currently seeking a Joint SOF Trainer (Operations and Planning) III for a high visibility program providing training and exercise support to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The Joint SOF Trainers plan, direct, and coordinate the activities required to execute all portions of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) for USASOC’s exercise programs. The Joint Exercise Life Cycle is all of the events and actions required to design, plan, and execute major training events that prepare US Special Operations Forces (SOF) for operations in support of the nation’s strategic initiatives. Supported entities include, but are not limited to: 1st Special Forces Command, USASOC, USSOCOM, Geographical Combatant Commands, Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) and Partner Nations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and strategic and operational-level joint training primarily in the area of Intelligence Operations. Perform in-depth research, analysis, and training to support the Theater Special Operations Commands, SOF Service Components, and joint SOF Task Force Commanders’ readiness and exercise programs. This support culminates in the execution of joint mission rehearsals, command post exercises, and other collective training events that supports the USSOCOM 350-12 certification and validation program. Multiple positions may be hired from this announcement. Work Environment: * Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment). * Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. * Ability to work in confined areas. * Ability to work in remote and rural environments. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree with 8 years experience in SOF //OR// Associate’s degree with 13 years experience working in SOF //OR// (E7-E8, CW3-CW4, O4-O5) with 13 years experience working in SOF. * Current, active TS/SCI security clearance. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience with the Joint Training System (joint exercise planning management). * Minimum of 4 years’ recent experience serving in a SOF tactical or operational level headquarters (SOJTF or JSOTF). * Minimum of 4 years’ experience developing SOF tactical-operational level products to support GCC, TSOC/JSOC, and SOF Component SOF and CT exercises. * Minimum of 4 years’ experience directly interfacing with senior staff (O5/O6 and GOFO) at the TSOCs, Components, GCCs, Services, Interagency. * Excellent presentation, communication and organization skills; proven skills in formal classroom delivery. * Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus. * Professional proficiency in English is required. * Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications. * Valid driver’s license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain company liability insurance through a clean driving record. * Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID.
