Job description

Overview

Responsible to the SPD Quality Assurance Manager / Educator for the monitoring, verification, and execution of the Quality systems in SPD.  Performs inspections and audits of equipment and processes to provide feedback to Instrumentation techs on performance of duties.  Assists the SPD QA Manager in development and execution of training at all facilities. Works in conjunction with the Instrumentation Techs to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Certification: Must be IAHCSMM certified as a Central Service Technician (or equivalent) within one year of hire.

Experience:  Previous experience in manufacturing, surgical and/or sterile processing required.
