KEY SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and skilled **Software Engineer with GIS Experience** to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative geospatial software solutions. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize applications that leverage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies to process and analyze spatial data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build user-friendly interfaces, integrate GIS tools, and ensure the performance and scalability of our geospatial applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about both software engineering and geospatial data, with the ability to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.   • Ensure GIS software meets performance and scalability requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • Strong knowledge of spatial data formats (e.g., Shapefiles, GeoJSON)
  • Experience with geospatial libraries and APIs (e.g., GDAL, OGR)
  • Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Spatialite)
  • Understanding of mapping technologies and geospatial visualization
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for geospatial analysis

DESIRED SKILLS
  • Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms
  • Familiarity with remote sensing data and analysis
  • Knowledge of geospatial data processing techniques (e.g., raster analysis)
  • Understanding of geospatial data accuracy and validation
