Job description

Amazon's Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) organization is looking for a Product Manager - Technical III to own the product lifecycle, roadmap, and stakeholder alignment for SpectraLink - RME's in-house Digital Twin and Spatial Intelligence Platform.
SpectraLink automates the generation of multi-perspective 2D/3D site layouts and unifies telemetry, safety, maintenance, and operational data into a spatially aware model of every Amazon fulfillment facility. Today, layout generation is a manual, vendor-driven process that takes 6-10 weeks and costs ~$300K per site. SpectraLink is changing that - reducing timelines to under 2 weeks and costs to under $60K, while scaling spatial heatmaps from 115 sites to 400+ globally.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact individual contributor role where you'll define the product vision, drive cross-functional alignment across RME Operations, Workplace Health & Safety, Global Engineering Services Pre-Launch, and Equipment Lifecycle Management teams, and partner with a team of ~6 developers through pilot testing-to-scale phases. You'll navigate ambiguity, make smart trade-offs, and deliver a platform that fundamentally changes how Amazon's RME Customers reason about their facilities.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the SpectraLink product roadmap end-to-end - define vision, tenets, strategy, and feature priorities across all 2026-28 initiatives.
- Drive PR/FAQ and Working Backwards documentation for new capabilities; contribute to OP1/OP2 narratives and organizational goals
- Scale spatial visualization globally in all RME Sites
- Extend layout generation beyond vendor Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition to CAD models, PDF vector drawings, and other spatial sources
- Onboard 10+ operational KPIs (Job Activity Monitoring System, Labor Planning, High Impact Events, Work Orders, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Monitron, Safety Incidents) into spatial heatmaps
- Partner with Global Engineering Services Pre-Launch to deliver spatial heatmaps for new launches.
- Pilot test spatial capabilities for Workplace Health & Safety and Equipment Lifecycle Management - Installation, Operational & Performance Qualification
- Enable layout-driven Asset Performance Management object code mapping, replacing the current Excel-based approach
- Align cross-functional stakeholders across Reliability & Maintenance Engineering Operations, Workplace Health & Safety, Global Engineering Services, Equipment Lifecycle Management, and vendor teams
- Define mechanisms and metrics (KPIs, adoption funnels, reporting standards) to track product performance and drive continuous improvement
