Spatial Ai information

What is Spatial AI?

Spatial AI refers to artificial intelligence systems designed to perceive, understand, and interact with the physical world in real time by processing spatial data. It combines elements of computer vision, 3D mapping, and sensor fusion to enable machines to interpret and respond to their environment, commonly used in robotics, augmented reality, and autonomous vehicles. Spatial AI technologies help machines understand objects, spaces, and movement, allowing for more advanced navigation and interaction within complex environments.

How does a spatial AI specialist typically collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects?

Spatial AI specialists often work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to develop and deploy intelligent spatial solutions. Their role involves integrating geospatial data with machine learning models, requiring frequent communication to align on project objectives, data requirements, and deployment strategies. Collaboration is key, especially when interpreting spatial data outputs for non-technical stakeholders and adapting models based on feedback from end users. Strong teamwork skills help ensure that spatial insights are actionable and support broader organizational goals.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a spatial AI engineer, and why are they important?

To excel as a Spatial AI Engineer, you need a solid background in computer vision, machine learning, and spatial data analysis, often supported by a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with tools such as Python, TensorFlow, OpenCV, GIS software, and experience with 3D data processing are commonly required, along with relevant certifications in AI or spatial technologies. Creative problem-solving, strong analytical thinking, and effective communication are crucial soft skills that help bridge technical solutions and real-world applications. These skills enable the development of innovative AI-driven spatial solutions that are accurate, efficient, and effectively meet organizational or client needs.

Job description

Job Type
Full-time
Description
Engrain builds map-based tech that's redefining how real estate works. Our interactive, unit-level maps and powerful data integrations help over 1,000 companies-and 20,000 properties-to make smarter decisions, streamline leasing, and deliver better renter experiences. From prospect to renewal, our products give properties a spatial brain and a visual edge when it comes to property marketing and management. And it's working: our churn rate is just 5%, and we've been putting up double-digit growth numbers every year.
We're not your typical proptech company. We move fast, we stay curious, and we don't do stale or corporate fluff. Backed by successful Seed and Series A rounds, we're entering a phase of serious scale.
As a National Account Executive, you will be a primary driver of Engrain's core product growth. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will lead the strategy for securing large-scale growth and expanding our footprint within the nation's most prominent multifamily real estate portfolios. Leveraging your expertise in relationship-building, you will provide high-caliber service to integrate clients into the Engrain technology ecosystem. You are someone who anticipates decision-making patterns, uncovers the deep-seated business needs of key customers, and articulates how our "spatial brain" technology provides a definitive visual edge. This role requires a blend of sophisticated influence and technical curiosity; you aren't just selling a product-you are architecting spatial solutions for C-suite visionaries.
What you'll do...
  • Drive Enterprise Growth: Execute a sophisticated sales plan to secure high-value new logos and expand Engrain's footprint within massive existing real estate portfolios, carrying a quarterly software quota of $330k+.
  • AI-Powered Strategy: Develop and lead a territory penetration strategy that leverages AI-driven market intelligence and deep industry insights to identify and prioritize the most lucrative enterprise targets.
  • Precision Outreach: Use AI sales productivity tools to synthesize complex account data, enabling highly tailored outreach and the creation of spatial solutions that solve specific C-suite challenges.
  • Meet and exceed daily/weekly activity metrics for outbound touches and qualified discovery meetings set for the Account Executive team.
  • High-Stakes Influence: Deliver compelling executive-level presentations to C-suite visionaries, utilizing data visualization and AI-backed insights to demonstrate long-term ROI and the competitive "visual edge" of our "spatial brain" technology.
  • Portfolio Expansion: Masterfully manage a robust pipeline of new logo leads while strategically partnering with Account Managers to penetrate existing large-scale portfolios through high-impact cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Advanced Sales Tech Stack: Optimize your workflow within Salesforce and HubSpot by utilizing AI transcription and automated summarization to meticulously document and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles.
  • Strategic Intelligence: Act as a critical feedback loop for leadership, providing value-added market intelligence derived from trend analysis tools to help shape Engrain's product roadmap and enterprise strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize team-selling productivity and ensure a unified brand voice across all national accounts.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Serve as a premiere expert in the proptech space, staying ahead of AI advancements and competitive dynamics to represent Engrain as a thought leader at national events and trade shows.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Travel 10% - 25% to build deep-rooted, face-to-face relationships with national stakeholders and C-suite visionaries.
  • Use AI tools to increase speed, quality, and effectiveness in daily sales work.

Requirements
What you offer us...
  • The Foundation: 5+ years of experience delivering complex technology solutions to the multifamily industry. You aren't just a salesperson; you are an industry expert.
  • Proven Growth Driver: A history of consistently meeting or exceeding $330k+ quarterly quotas through a strategic blend of new business development and existing account expansion.
  • Analytical Precision: The ability to leverage AI-driven market intelligence and trend analysis tools to identify high-value targets and build a data-backed case for ROI.
  • Complex Deal Navigation: Expert-level skills in managing multi-stakeholder deal cycles within large enterprise organizations, from initial discovery to final C-level approval.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience working cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency and optimize "team-selling" productivity across national territories.
  • SaaS Savvy: A sophisticated understanding of SaaS metrics and the unique challenges facing large-scale real estate owners in a competitive digital market.
  • Technical Excellence: Meticulous documentation habits and a mastery of the sales tech stack (Salesforce/HubSpot) to provide accurate, value-added market intelligence to leadership.
  • Experience with or eagerness to learn:
    • ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar generative AI tools
    • Notebook.ai as a training resource for onboarding and ongoing training
    • Data enrichment and intelligence tools (e.g., Clay)
  • Ability to adapt quickly as tools, processes, and best practices evolve

What we offer you...
  • Salary Disclosure for Colorado: The expected annual base salary for this position is $80,000, with a total on-target earnings (OTE) of $180,000+. Final compensation is dependent on a variety of factors like experience, certifications and skill set.
  • Various health, dental, and vision insurance plans to choose from
  • Up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Up to 18 days annually of PTO & 10 holidays per year
  • Dog-friendly office
  • 401k match up to 4 percent
  • Annual reimbursement for learning & growth opportunities through our Grow475 program
  • On-site amenities include a professional fitness center, flexible & modern workspace, coffee bar, happy hour taps & team member lounge
