What is a Spanish teaching assistant?

Spanish Teaching Assistants are educational support professionals who assist lead teachers in Spanish language classrooms. They help with lesson preparation, classroom management, and provide additional support to students learning Spanish. Their responsibilities may include leading small group activities, offering one-on-one support, and helping students practice speaking and listening skills. Spanish Teaching Assistants often serve as language models and cultural ambassadors, enhancing students' understanding of both the language and Hispanic cultures.
