Built on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking Injection Mold Operator to join our team and support our continued growth.
This role is responsible for the operation of assembly equipment to manufacture plastic parts for cooler-related products meeting quality and production standards.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate Injection Molding Machines
  • Responsible for visual inspection of production for defects based on Standard. Monitor product for any quality issues.
  • Accurately Track production and rejects on production form.
  • Verify that equipment is operating properly. Notify Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • Adhere to all Safety Practices.
  • Participate and support lean activities.
  • Ensure work area meets 5S guidelines.
  • Perform product stacking per engineering standards.
  • Get the proper material to the required machines in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
  • Maintain acceptable level of housekeeping by 5S standards in the assigned work area. Work areas must be kept free and clear of trash (paper, plastic, cups, bottles, and gloves) or any items which are not necessary to perform work assignment.
  • Cutting trim flash from parts.
  • Keep fixture/mold/tooling rack areas clean and organized.
  • Achieve established daily performance target.
  • Relieve other Machine Operators in the occurrence of machine down time or job re-assignment in pursuit of maintaining departmental efficiency and quality of production
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on Injection Molding Machine and auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
  • Completion of New Hire Training Program.
  • Able to trim, inspect, parts from multiple machines while working in high heat conditions.
  • Maintains constant situational awareness of 360-degree surroundings to ensure personal and team safety in high-traffic areas.
  • Perceives and responds to all safety signals, including backup alarms, horns, and visual alerts from moving equipment (forklifts, conveyors).
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
  • No previous experience required
  • Language Skills: Able to read, write, and communicate in English or Spanish.
  • Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. multiple times a day during a 12-hr. Shift
    • Bend and stand in difficult positions up to 12 hours
    • Able to manipulate tools with both hands and stand for long hours.
    • Minimum height requirement of 60 inches.
  • Action oriented - results driven.
  • Sensory Perception: Must be able to effectively exchange information with supervisors and team members regarding production goals and immediate safety hazards.
  • Situational Awareness: Must be able to safely navigate a warehouse environment characterized by moving mechanical parts and high-volume industrial vehicle traffic.
  • Work environment: Manufacturing environment is hot and humid in summer months, cold during winter months.
  • High noise level requires use of hearing protection

Physical Demands & Conditions

Standing & Walking
Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.
Postural Requirements
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.
Lifting & Material Handling
  • Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.
  • Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.

Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use
Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.
Visual Requirements
Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.
Environmental Conditions
  • Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100-120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.
  • High noise level: Environment requires the ability to safely work around loud machinery and may require use of hearing protection; employees must be able to recognize emergency alerts within this environment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.
