Therapitas is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy company dedicated to serving Latino and Hispanic children across Oklahoma. With three clinics in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, our mission is to ensure that Latino children have the same access to quality therapy services as any other child. We provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services, educate our communities on bilingual development, advocate for our patients, and implement strategies that improve access to care for families who are too often overlooked.

Our ABA department operates within this broader multidisciplinary organization alongside Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists. Therapitas is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is mission-driven, reliable, and committed to clinical excellence. Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification 
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to receive and implement feedback from supervisors
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including sitting and standing for extended periods, transitioning quickly between spaces, and responding safely to behaviors such as hitting, kicking, biting, or elopement. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for qualified individuals with disabilities 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish 
  • Experience working directly with children diagnosed with ASD or other developmental disorder
  • Familiarity with Central Reach or similar ABA data collection software

What You'll Do
As an RBT at Therapitas, you will provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders, implementing individualized programs developed by your supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will work as a critical member of a multidisciplinary team with experienced clinicians providing mentorship, training, and ongoing clinical direction every step of the way. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Follow all Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), pairing protocols, schedules of reinforcement, and program targets as written
  • Incorporate skill-building into both structured teaching and natural play opportunities throughout each session
  • Deliver reinforcement for desired behaviors and maintain client engagement for the duration of each session
  • Collect accurate, real-time session data in Central Reach every session
  • Complete session notes accurately and within required timeframes
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with your supervising BCBA regarding client progress, behavioral incidents, and any clinical concerns
  • Attend all required team meetings and trainings
  • Arrive on-site prepared and ready to begin sessions at your scheduled time
  • Maintain professionalism with clients, families, and colleagues at all times
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
  • Complete incident reports promptly and follow all clinic safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned​​​​​​​
