Job Summary/Description:

WALA/FOX10, the Gulf Coast’s leading news station, is looking for an energetic bilingual (Spanish) Multimedia Journalist to join our Mobile/Pensacola newsroom. We need a journalist who follows the news closely, develops strong hard-news leads, and brings forward original story ideas—not just the day’s press releases. The right candidate is a clear communicator, skilled visual storyteller, and comfortable creating for social platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Deliver live reports each day for multiple newscasts
- Shoot, write, edit, and publish stories across platforms
- Produce accurate, engaging work on tight deadlines

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Fully bilingual in English AND Spanish is required. Must be able to report on air and online in both English and Spanish.
- Proven, demonstrated ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that support the Fox10/Telemundo Mobile/Pensacola brands.
- Background must include, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in broadcast/digital journalism or the equivalent.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate state-of-the-art television news equipment, as well as content management systems and social media
