Requirements / Qualifications
Position Description Unidos Middle School is seeking a highly qualified and passionate Spanish Language Arts Teacher to join our Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program. The successful candidate will be committed to promoting bilingualism, biliteracy, academic excellence, and cross-cultural competence while supporting students on their pathway toward the Seal of Biliteracy and college and career readiness. The Spanish Language Arts Teacher will provide rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in Spanish that develops students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while fostering a love for language, literacy, and cultural understanding. The teacher will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure vertical alignment of the DLI program and support the academic growth of both native Spanish speakers and Spanish language learners.
