Why do doctors discourage chiropractors?

Doctors often discourage chiropractors because some chiropractic treatments lack strong scientific evidence and may pose risks, especially when performed improperly. Medical professionals typically recommend evidence-based approaches like physical therapy or medical interventions for musculoskeletal issues. Collaboration between chiropractors and medical doctors can vary based on individual cases and professional standards.

How much do chiropractors get paid?

In Spain, chiropractors typically earn between €20,000 and €40,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and whether they work in clinics or private practice. Salaries can vary based on certifications, patient volume, and working hours.

Specialized chiropractors, such as sports chiropractors or those working in private practices with a high patient volume, tend to earn the highest incomes. Can a chiropractor help with cortisol levels?

A chiropractor can help improve nervous system function and reduce stress, which may indirectly influence cortisol levels. However, managing cortisol typically involves medical evaluation and lifestyle changes, and chiropractors do not directly treat hormonal imbalances. Collaboration with healthcare providers is recommended for cortisol-related concerns.
