  • Request apostilles and certifications; obtain court documents, orders, and filed-stamped copies from courts and agencies.
  • Help maintain attorney e-filing accounts and related system requirements (credentials, registration updates, and access needs).
  • Provide procedural support for attorney appearances, including pro hac vice admissions.
  • Partner with paralegals and Legal Practice Assistants to coordinate litigation and administrative tasks across practice groups.
  • Support attorney onboarding/offboarding related to litigation systems and procedural compliance (documentation, access, and process guidance).
  • Docket court dates and deadlines in the firm's docketing system and support deadline tracking as part of the MAO's risk-management function.
  • Apply working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, New York CPLR, and applicable local rules to promote accurate, timely, and compliant litigation operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in litigation support, court filings, and service processes (law firm or legal department environment preferred).
  • Working knowledge of federal and New York state court procedures, including FRCP, CPLR, and local rules.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, staff, and court personnel.
  • Ability to work across multiple practice groups and shift priorities based on operational needs.
  • Proficiency with e-filing systems and docketing workflows; ability to learn firm systems quickly.

The firm offers a generous total compensation package with bonuses and raises awarded in recognition of individual merit-based performance. All full-time Business Services employees may participate in King & Spalding's comprehensive benefit program including health and wellness plan, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts and a health savings account, a 401(k) plan, profit sharing plan, and a substantial Paid Time Off (PTO) program.

Pay Transparency Range:
