Meet The Village Country Club: your new two-story poolside restaurant & bar concept located inside The Village offering a new menu and crafted cocktails of the shaken, stirred and frozen variety. This is what Villager dreams are made of...and now we have the venue to prove it. The space will include a second level bar, private event areas, spacious outdoor patios, and arcade-style games.
JOB SUMMARY
In our pursuit of excellence, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and career-driven server who will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, an immaculate presentation, and a friendly attitude to work within a very demanding and exciting environment. While the ideal candidate will have a solid high-end work experience, working at Dive In will require an eagerness for learning and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver a consistently high level of guest service. Give unobtrusive, knowledgeable, and genuine service to every guest, every time.
  • Display a warm, personalized, and caring welcome by greeting our guests upon arrival to their table
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make personalized suggestions regarding food and beverage pairings
  • Place guest's orders according to cooking and prep times, ensuring seamless and impeccable service
  • Partner with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations
  • Communicate with guests to ensure their satisfaction and collect additional feedback and insights
  • Respond to additional guests requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process
  • Clean and set up the dining areas for the following service
  • Refill/restock service areas according to the departments' standards
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or related preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in an full-service restaurant required
  • Current TABC and Food Handler's certification
  • Exhibit elevated food, wine, and beverage knowledge
  • Team oriented
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Knowledge of international cuisines and various cooking methods preferred
  • Must be able to detail and define all ingredients on the food menu and recommend menu pairings accordingly
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible
  • Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
  • Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezers), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
