Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager, National Security Space in the Business Development Organization, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. This role is focused on supporting growth activities for the company in the National Security Space Market.

As a Senior Proposal Manager, you will lead the end-to-end development of winning proposals for our National Security Space portfolio. You will be expected to be an expert practitioner of the Shipley Process and thrive in a high-tempo environment, juggling multiple concurrent efforts for elite customers including the U.S. Space Force and the Intelligence Community. This is an individual contributor role requiring a rare blend of strategic thinking and "sleeves-up" execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Leadership: Lead and manage the full proposal lifecycle for complex space-based missions, from pre-RFP capture alignment through final submission.
  • Shipley Mastery: Apply rigorous Shipley-based methodologies to lead Pink, Red, and Gold Team reviews, ensuring all feedback is adjudicated to increase Win Probability (PWin).
  • Multi-Tasking Excellence: Efficiently manage multiple concurrent proposals with overlapping deadlines without sacrificing quality or compliance.
  • Technical Integration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex satellite and ground system engineering into compelling, compliant narratives.
  • Compliance & Strategy: Develop detailed compliance matrices and executive-level win themes that resonate with DoD and IC evaluators.
  • Capture Management: Lead and support capture efforts, working closely with technical teams.

Required Qualifications
  • US Citizenship
  • Active/current TS/SCI clearance, SAP eligibility preferred
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Business, Technology, or Science
  • Experience: 10+ years of federal proposal management experience, specifically within aerospace or defense.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of DoD (Space Force)and ICprocurement cultures, including FAR/DFARS and specific IC-level acquisition nuances.
  • Technical Familiarity: Practical knowledge of space systems, satellite architectures, or mission operations.
  • Methodology: Advanced proficiency in the Shipley Processor equivalent formal frameworks.
  • Experienced in space technology or related sciences
  • Experienced with structured Capture/Proposal Methodologies
Required Skills

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $160,000-$200,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary.
