This remote position will focus on providing high-quality mental health care to young individuals, ensuring they have the necessary support for both academic and personal development. The selected candidate will be instrumental in instilling hope and resilience in our clients, contributing significantly to their overall well-being.

About the Organization

Mind Saver Mental Health Services, Inc. is a committed provider of outpatient mental health services based in Baker City, Oregon. Our primary focus is on delivering comprehensive therapeutic support to children and adolescents, recognizing that early intervention and effective counseling can lead to transformative changes in their lives. Our team is passionate about making a difference, and we pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative environment where each employee can thrive and grow professionally.

Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible remote work setting. As part of our outpatient office, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing personalized care plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Although you will primarily work from home, regular virtual meetings and collaborative discussions will enhance your ability to connect with colleagues and share insights. This remote setting allows you to balance your professional commitments with personal life while ensuring you stay connected with our vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address their mental health needs.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress through our electronic medical record system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on treatment goals.
  • Engage with clients to identify financial or social needs, providing necessary referrals and resources to facilitate their holistic well-being.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to care coordination and sharing best practices with your colleagues.
  • Adhere to New Narrative policies, procedures, and ethical standards to guarantee the highest level of care and professionalism.
  • Fulfill ongoing education requirements as mandated by licensing bodies, enhancing your skills, and staying abreast of developments in the mental health field.
  • Maintain appropriate licensure and certifications, including a current Oregon driverโ€™s license and CPR/First Aid certification.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The populations served by Mind Saver Mental Health Services primarily consist of children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, which may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. As a licensed mental health therapist, you will be key in creating a safe and supportive space for these young individuals, helping them navigate their struggles and develop coping mechanisms that promote their long-term success and well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
  • Current independent licensure in the state of Oregon as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, allowing you to manage a high caseload effectively while prioritizing quality client care.
  • A genuine ability to motivate and inspire clients, demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to their growth.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working with adolescents in a therapeutic setting, especially in outpatient care.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient information.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is between $50,000 and $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Mind Saver Mental Health Services offers a comprehensive benefits package including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and well-being.
  • Life and disability insurance options for added peace of mind.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage ensuring you are protected in your practice.
  • An employee assistance program (EAP) designed to provide mental health support for all staff members.
  • Minimal paperwork to allow you to focus on client care rather than administrative tasks.
  • A full caseload that supports a busy and fulfilling work schedule.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Mind Saver Mental Health Services, we believe in nurturing our employees and providing opportunities for professional development. You will have access to continuing education workshops, training programs, and networking opportunities that will enable you to refine your skills and advance your career path within the organization.
