The Property and Space Management Specialist is responsible for activities and functions related to space management, and property at Diagnostics & Biologics (D&B) facilities nationwide. You will be responsible for a wide variety and heavy volume of administrative activities and advisory services as they relate to space management, and real/personal property management.
Qualifications:Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
TIME-IN-GRADE: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
FOR THE GS-07 LEVEL: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-05 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates:
- Producing quality draft documents, reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence by set deadlines.
- Space management, property management, personal property management, Fleet Management, logistics and/or acquisitions.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations using standardized systems, forms, and established procedures.
OR one full year of graduate level education with a major study in Business, Public Policy, Project Management, Constructed Management, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics, and related.
OR Superior Academic Achievement: S.A.A. is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership.
- Class standing -- upper third of the graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision, based on completed courses.
- Grade-point average (G.P.A.) 2.95 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B" or better) based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum;
- OR (G.P.A) 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B+" or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for this grade level.
