Overview
Senior HR & Personnel Support Specialist
LOCATION: Chantilly, VA
JOB STATUS: Full-time
CLEARANCE: Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and Poly required.
U.S. citizenship required.
SALARY RANGE: Estimated $180,000+ USD Annually*
*depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications
The Senior HR & Personnel Support Specialist provides executive-level personnel administration, workforce management, and human resources support to U.S. Space Force and national security space organizations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting HR, personnel administration, executive administration, or workforce support activities.
  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or related federal organizations.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Experience supporting SSC, NRO, or national security space organizations.
  • Familiarity with military awards, evaluations, staffing packages, and executive correspondence.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership or headquarters staff environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide senior-level personnel and administrative support to leadership and staff.
  • Track and process personnel actions, staffing documentation, onboarding packages, awards, evaluations, and organizational records.
  • Coordinate civilian, military, and contractor personnel actions.
  • Support workforce management activities including staffing status reporting, billet tracking, personnel readiness, and accountability.

Executive & Organizational Support
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, suspense actions, and leadership task management.
  • Prepare correspondence, memoranda, briefing materials, staffing packages, and reports.
  • Support onboarding, out-processing, visitor control requests, CAC coordination, and account access activities.
  • Support travel coordination, conference planning, and administrative logistics.

Compliance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, Department of the Air Force, and U.S. Space Force guidance.
  • Maintain personnel databases, trackers, and reporting systems.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and workflow visibility.
  • Handle sensitive personnel information within secure environments.#CJ
