Spa Sales Associate - Columbia SC
*APPLY TODAY* Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is looking for a passionate, ambitious individual to join our expanding team. We provide massages, facials, and waxing services 7 days a week. We pride ourselves on creating an excellent work environment and unmatched client experience.
Compensation includes an hourly rate from $12-$13 per hour Weekly + Monthly Contests / Membership Incentives. Additionally, Hand and Stone offers Paid Time Off (Vacation) , as well as an Employee Rewards Program. Rapid Growth Opportunities Exists for excellent team members

Spa Associate Responsibilities:
  • Meeting membership sales goals (there is a minimum requirement to sustain employment)
  • Detailed knowledge of the menu of services
  • Effectively communicate sales, promotions, and services options with clients
  • Execute the daily operational tasks, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by management.
  • Uphold store cleanliness standards
  • Scheduling appointments and balancing the daily schedule
  • Communicating the continually changing schedule and operational needs with teammates

Spa Associate Qualifications:
  • Capable of working flexible hours (evenings and weekends required)
  • Special consideration given to candidates with prior retail or membership sales experience (Gym, Tanning, or Salon) or prior Spa experience such as Massage Envy, Elements or Massage Heights
  • Experience with Millennium software a plus
  • Critical thinking skills, including conflict resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A fast learner, with a positive attitude, and remain calm in fast pace environment
  • Computer proficient (a knowledge of retail/appointment booking computer systems, a plus.)
  • A strong team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritizing ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
