Position Summary
The Hospitality Specialist plays an essential role in creating the warm, welcoming, and luxurious experience that defines Woodhouse Spa. This position supports the guest experience and daily spa operations by anticipating guest needs, maintaining beautiful and comfortable guest areas, managing laundry and amenities, and providing light housekeeping support.
The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality. You understand that the smallest details-from a perfectly prepared robe and warm beverage to a pristine relaxation area-help create an exceptional Woodhouse experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly welcome guests and provide attentive, personalized hospitality throughout their visit.
  • Anticipate guest needs and assist with beverages, refreshments, robes, slippers, towels, and other amenities.
  • Maintain relaxation areas, locker rooms, restrooms, lounges, and other guest spaces to ensure they are consistently clean, organized, stocked, and presentation-ready.
  • Perform light cleaning, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, tidying common areas, replenishing supplies, and addressing spills or immediate needs.
  • Manage spa laundry, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and maintaining appropriate levels of towels, sheets, robes, and other linens.
  • Assist service providers with room turnover, linens, supplies, and other operational needs.
  • Be comfortable discussing and recommending spa services, enhancements, and retail products based on individual guest needs and preferences.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, special events, group bookings, and other daily spa operations.
  • Work collaboratively with Guest Services, service providers, and spa leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications
  • Previous hospitality, spa, salon, hotel, restaurant, country club, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Warm, professional, and approachable with a genuine passion for taking care of others.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • Comfortable recommending products and services to guests.
  • Dependable, punctual, flexible, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional presence.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/carry up to approximately 30 pounds.
