Position Summary
The Spa Director is res is responsible for short- and long-term strategic planning, financial performance, marketing strategy, colleague development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Lead the overall strategy, vision, and daily operations of Tamaya Mist Spa & Salon
  • Maintain awareness of competitor offerings, trends, and industry innovations
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and culturally respectful environment for guests and colleagues
  • Uphold Hyatt's service standards and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Resolve guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and maintenance follow-up
  • Oversee retail inventory, merchandising, and product strategy
  • Support team members with operational challenges and guest interactions
Marketing
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow business, identify new markets, and elevate brand presence
  • Partner with our marketing manager on spa promotions, media opportunities, and storytelling
  • Conduct Sales Tours/Site Inspections for potential group business.
Financial
  • Review, analyze, and interpret financial and operational reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Labor management, scheduling, and payroll controls to meet business needs and budgetary expectations.
  • Assist in the preparations of the annual budgets, monitor variances, and implement corrective actions
  • Identify capital improvement needs and prepare supporting business cases
  • Control cost, and meet cost of services goals
