Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

"Cashiers – Front of House Staff" should work to provide customers with fast and friendly service while ensuring accuracy at the sales counter. Should be able to take orders, ring them up on a register, collect payments, make change, and issue receipts. Should be able to help with other tasks around the establishment during downtime. We are looking for an individual with customer service and on-the-job training experience—the ability to follow directions and perform their tasks with speed and accuracy. As an SP Hospitality Group team member, we expect you to follow all company policies and procedures and maintain a positive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome guests in a timely manner and take their food orders
  • Answer customer questions as they arise
  • Collect cash, and credit card payments from customers
  • Support establishment with juice bar station, coffee station and cold food preparation, and handling.
  • Handle all delivery (Uber Eats) POS information input, arrange and handle all delivery orders according to company standards.
  • Help with other tasks as needed, including managing shelves, tracking inventory, and keeping the store clean

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 3-6 months experience handling money and working with a cashier and customer service environment
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively in English
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide easily and quickly
  • Experience operating a cash register and Microsoft office
  • Proficient cashier and clerical skills
  • Comfortable with cash handling
  • Strong customer service skill
