Position Overview

Southwest Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position based in Savannah, Georgia. This role is integral to our mission of promoting healthy communities by delivering quality, patient-centered healthcare services, particularly within our Detox Center. The LCSW will provide essential clinical services to individuals experiencing major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, contributing significantly to their recovery and overall well-being.

Work Environment

This remote position offers flexibility and the ability to work from home while interacting with clients through telehealth platforms and online support systems. Although the majority of work will be conducted remotely, participation in occasional team meetings and training sessions may require virtual attendance. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours as needed based on client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients experiencing severe mental health challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to provide therapeutic interventions and crisis management, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and support staff, to streamline treatment objectives and enhance service delivery.
  • Engage in outreach initiatives within the community, effectively increasing awareness and access to mental health resources.
  • Adhere to best practices in documentation and record-keeping, including maintaining confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.
