Essential Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Provide high‑quality medical care for companion animals
  • Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate care plans
  • Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options
  • Deliver compassionate guidance through all stages of a pet's life, including end‑of‑life care

Requirements/Qualifications

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA‑accredited program
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
