Job description

Job Summary:
SS&C Technologies is a leading financial services and healthcare technology company headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut. They are seeking an experienced IVA Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain intelligent virtual assistant solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop conversational AI solutions using enterprise platforms (Soundhound Amelia)
• Build and maintain integrations between IVA platforms and backend systems using RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Implement NLU training strategies, intent management, and dialog flow optimization
• Write clean, maintainable code following object-oriented programming principles
• Track and manage work items using Atlassian Jira and Agile methodologies
• Stay current with emerging trends in conversational AI
Qualifications:
Required:
• BA in Computer Science or related field
• 2-5 years experience IVA development
• 1-2 years experience with AI technology
Preferred:
• AI usage within IVA call flow builds
• Experience with Sound Hounds Amelia/Smart Assist call flow IE
